There's only one game in town today

Yep. The heat. I'm sure it's not just at at Purpose Towers who are feeling the heat. We've been channelling the spirit of '76 and trying to keep cool as much as possible.

Charities have taken some steps for service user advice and team to boot.

When McDonald's closes, you've got a problem

In a bit of good news for the beleagured high street, this abandoned arcade to become UK’s first community shopping centre.

Kirklees council bought a Grade II-listed building in for about £1m and put it at the heart of a project called the Dewsbury Blueprint, itself a wider, 10-year regeneration project backed with £50m of local authority and government funding.

The idea is to make it a destinaton for shoppers with workshops and events attracting people into town with an upper floor will house nine artist studios. Worth a go.

HODL- This is used as an expression meaning “hold” with reference to 'don't sell your NFTs/Crypto at any cost' and frequently taken to be an acronym for Hold On for Dear Life. 

The term began life as a misspelling and caught on so you'll see it used in contexts like 'Saw Bitcoin dropped through the floor, I, however will HODL for ever'

The misspelling quickly caught on and is still used today.
