So digital comms are important (no sh*t Sherlock - ed) what with our post-pandemic world, WFH here to stay, the great resignation, Churchill, Take That, BTS, WTF (you're just making these up now, get on with it)

This report then, by the folks at Twilio, runs through how nonprofits have handled digital engagement and evolved their communication strategies over the past few yearsโand what those strategies will look like in the future.
It's comprehensive - 800 nonprofit employees queried in UK and US, as well as 1500 program participants, so it's a decent data set. Some highlights;
75% of nonprofits say service users want them to provide more digital comms options
Nonprofits are outpacing private sector in digital engagement
Developers are the secret sauce for digital leaders
The personalisation gap is real - and your opportunity

Tweets to know about today - how to grow
Heard of Mr Beast? he's only one of the most successful YouTubers of all time - he's got nearly 100m subscribers and had more views than Netflix for his take on Squid Game (yep, more than the original program) and has created some frankly outstanding statistics for his offbeat videos.
This breakdown from top Internet person, Dickie Bush breaks down the framework your org. should know about rapid social growth. (And no, you don't need to spend ยฃ3 milli on a video, just sayin') Watch and learn

DAO - (Decentralized Autonomous Organization)โ This is a new type of organisation that is typically based on open-source code. Crucially, it is governed by its users (think a social enterprise run by an Internal team AND service users). Everyone gets a say in how the organisation is run, and done publicly with automatic oversight and accountability.

DAOs tend to hone in on a specific mission or around a common theme or project. There is a lack of hierarchy found in traditional corporations and everything from founding mission to governance can be open and available to everyone on the blockchain - thereby making transparency and accountability baked directly in to the fabric of an organisation.
Our take: It's not without its challenges though tbh - and probably not for the digitally faint-hearted organisations out there. Obviously, there would be questions around technology, donations, trustees, board, suitability and of course, money.
